It has also made great strides in the area of cybersecurity. The #nePINdej! campaign has made millions of people aware of the risks associated with attackers, making it the most successful campaign of its kind.

An important step was the launch of the CBA Monitor (www.cbamonitor.cz), an interactive and quick reference on economic and banking sector developments.

"My mission at the CBA is accomplished and I am happy for all that we have accomplished during my tenure. I have built a team of great people around me who have helped me significantly in accomplishing my tasks. Now I feel it is time to take on new challenges and I have decided to develop my career in a new direction, says Monika Zahálková. I would like to thank not only my team, but also the members of the Presidium of the Czech Banking Association for their constructive cooperation, she adds.

During her tenure, the association has been modernized and made more visible to professionals and the general public. Thanks to her, the CBA plays an important role in the field of cybersecurity and professional education in the field of finance. I wish Monika every success in her future career," said Jan Juchelka, President of the Czech Banking Association.

Monika Zahálková has been the Executive Director of the CBA since October 2020. She has more than 20 years of experience in corporate governance. Since 2001, she has been the Executive Director and a member of the Steering Committee of the Czech Institute of Directors and since 2014 she has been its Managing Director. In 2018 and 2019, she was a member of the Board of Directors of the media house Economia. Since 2021 she has been a member of the Financial Market Guarantee System.

Monika Zahálková is also a published author. She is co-author of several professional titles on corporate governance and educational programs not only in this area.
