November inflation accelerated above expectations to 16.2%

Annual inflation had risen from 15.1% to 16.2% in November, with month-on-month growth of 1.2%. The market consensus, according to Reuters, was for annual growth of 15.6% and monthly growth of 0.7% (Chart 1)
