This document contains the relevant provisions of the Payment Transactions Act (ZoPS), which are followed by descriptions of the procedure for the customer, the existing and the new payment service provider.

Part of the provisions regulates the basic procedures for changing the bank's payment account, including annexes (application templates). This is an information section for customers.

CBA member banks that accede to this Standard undertake to comply with the provisions set out in both Part I and Part II of this Standard, while following the principles set out in the CBA Code of Conduct in their procedures.

Note: ZoPS uses the term "user", this Standard works with the term "client" which is more common in the financial world. On the other hand, ZoPS uses the term "provider", the current Standard also works with the term "provider".

The approved procedures have been discussed with both the Ministry of Finance and the Czech National Bank. Both institutions have confirmed that the procedures under the CBA Standard are fully compliant with the applicable legislation.
