Among the secondary schools, the team of the Secondary Vocational School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Velešín did the best. The second place was taken by students of the Secondary School and Higher Vocational School of Traditional Crafts from Brno and the third place went to the pair of the Secondary Industrial School of Electrical Engineering and the Grammar School from Prague 10.

The CyberGame competition is intended for 8th and 9th grade pupils and now also for 1st and 2nd year high school students. A total of 604 classes from various schools across the country entered this year's competition. More than 10,000 children competed in the class round, which took place at the end of November. The principle of the competition is to answer a series of quiz questions as quickly and correctly as possible and get the highest number of points. There is a time limit for each question, and the number of points a contestant can earn decreases as time runs out.

The impetus for the creation of the CyberGame competition was, among other things, the results of the long-term project Kybertest(www.kybertest.cz), which the Czech Banking Association implements with the aim of testing the level of knowledge of cyber security among the public.

"It is the younger generation that has long achieved the weakest results in the test, despite the fact that it uses digital technologies most intensively. The CyberGame was therefore created as a practical and playful way to strengthen children and young people's understanding of online risks and safe behaviour in the digital environment," adds Zdeňka Hildová.
